Attached to this comment please find the corresponding log from /var/log/wpa_supplicant.log (again MAC addresses replaced). To me it looks like the log entry "WPA: EAPOL-Key Replay Counter did not increase - dropping packet" is the key as this event seems to occur frequently and each time after it occurred the connection is lost. Also it would describe the "Autorisierung fehlgeschlagen" (Authentication failure) entries in the router's connection log that frequently show up in the log excerpt above.
So what is EAPOL-Key Replay Counter? And is it supposed to be increased on the laptop's side or is it that the router has a firmware bug (but if the latter is the case why do the windows machines work then?)? --------------------------- u...@laptop:/var/log$ tail -f wpa_supplicant.log Associated with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS WPA: 4-Way Handshake failed - pre-shared key may be incorrect CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys Associated with xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx CTRL-EVENT-DISCONNECTED - Disconnect event - remove keys CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS Authentication with 00:00:00:00:00:00 timed out.
