Hi. I had the same problem. I'm running Edgy on an iBook G3 (800 MHz). I tried to open an mp4 file (http://lix.cc/~lix/lix.cc/film/Alex_Antener-Freie_Software_eine_Chance_fuer_Afrika-23C3.mp4). The problem is repoducable. Maybe the report file is of any help.
