Public bug reported:
After the updates from yesterday, my laptop with Jaunty Alpha 6 (+
latest updates) boots to a black screen with a white bar - no theme,
just black screen with a white bar. The bar is at the location where the
GDM screen usually has the text box for username/password entry. There
is no cursor. If I click the mouse in it, nothing happens. When I start
typing, the tty briefly appears, and the proper GDM login screen shows
up.
There on, there is no issue.
