It would be awkward to have a driver that works in a different manner than other devices supported by evtouch to be packaged together, but I understand the concern of having so many random drivers. The only latest distro I can find that has the driver in its repository is openSUSE 11.1, and I wonder if that one is still working even (I never managed to get openSUSE installed and working properly). I'll try to find how to push it to debian then.
