Public bug reported:

This is a regression. I use suspend a lot on Sony Vaio VGN-AR730 running
Intrepid but on Jaunty it stopped working.
Closing the Lid looks like not triggering anything and selecting suspend from
Gnome Panel actually suspend the computer but when trying to return operation
it does not work at all (I have to send <CTRL>+<ALT>+<SysRq>+"REISUB" sequence
to reboot it).

Please let me know which debugging procedures I need to do.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Guilherme
