Public bug reported: Running Jaunty Alpha6 64bit from the Live DVD just to test the problems I current face on Intrepid, thing are very distinct relating to song so I guess it does not fits anymore on the previous bug reports.
Basically the following problems happens: 1) When connecting a HeadSet, sound continues on the laptop speakers, no headset sound at all 2) Internal microphone is active but very low, even after raising all microphone levels and boost levels. 3) Attaching a microphone works, but it's very loud and changing microphone levels and boost levels don't make any difference at all. It's also very noisy and distorted (see attachment to have an idea) Thank you and Best Regards, Guilherme Monteiro ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 MachineType: Sony Corporation VGN-AR730E NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: linux-image-2.6.28-9-generic 2.6.28-9.31 ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/casper/vmlinuz file=/cdrom/preseed/hostname.seed boot=casper initrd=/casper/initrd.gz quiet splash -- ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.28-9.31-generic SourcePackage: linux ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- HeadSet and Microphone problems on Sony Vaio VGN-AR730 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/345677 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
