When reporting X bugs, you need to attach the output of `lspci -vvnn`,
and attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file from after reproducing this
issue. If you've made any customizations to your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
please attach that as well.
I agree with colin this may really be a kernel bug, so if there are no
obvious error messages in your Xorg.0.log, you should also look at your
kernel log files. As currently written, this bug report cannot be
troubleshot due to its incompleteness.
