I am having a similar problem with Xubunto 8.04.1 The final installation freezes at 15% every time and I have tried about six times so far. The md5sum checks out ok. It is the desktop-i386.ISO which I am using. Strangely I have installed from the same CD to my friend's laptop with absolutely no problems or freezes, first time of trying and in a fairly swift time. So it would appear that it is something to do with the computer that it is being installed on. ??? Any suggestions would help maybe.
