Same problem here. I can use my PC and Pidgin fine until I have to go wireless; soon as I do, flashing CAP lock and Scroll lock. The entire system is unusable except holding-down the power button.
Everything works fine when using wired connections with Pidgin. Happens at home and at work, anywhere else I attempt to use Pidgin over wireless.
