1) Update distribution version from 8.04 to 8.10. 2) Pressing Fn+F4 to cause the computer to suspend. 3) A special keycode seems to be generated, since emacs complains about having no binding for <XF86Sleep>, but other than that, nothing. (Same did occasionally have time to show up in 8.04 before screen blank during suspend)
