32bit always worked in the past.  My XP partition uses 32bit everyday.

The first log is with no xorg.conf which defaults to 640x480 (I think)
and the monitor is basically useless as the screen is about 5x6 inches
with about 1/2 of a duplicate screen (same size) just below it.

I can't send you a log when the system crashes as there is no new log
when the system comes back up.  The only log there is the one from the
previous session.
