Hi! For testers, there is a test version of the driver at http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gl860/gl860_2.6.28d9.tgz?use_mirror=. It includes the autodetection of the sensor (not used unless you suppress your gl860 line in /etc/modprobe.d/options), two working modes (no image decoding->use libv4l / image decoding[default]) and a feature for webcam image grabber. This version logs in dmesg the image format and size negociation between the driver and the application. In case of not working application, these traces are important.
Main useful tests are : sensor autodetection remove the gl860 line in /etc/modprobe.d/options) and test applications (without trying the forced use of libv4l) launched in command line to have traces in case of failure. If an application fails, its traces and the 'dmesg grep gl860' are important to understand what happens. -- Genesys Logic Webcam 05e3:0503 Not Working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/215604 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
