This happens to me too. I'm using Jaunty: gnome-session: 2.25.92-0ubuntu2 compiz: 1:0.8.2-0ubuntu2
It's very easy to reproduce. It doesn't matter what the "switch to workspace" keys are set to, the "move window to workspace" keys never work.
