I just got hit by something very similar to this on jaunty. I left my laptop go down until 3 min of battery, then put it to suspend, went eat, 15-20min later I picked it up, plugged the AC power, and resumed it (from suspend to memory). When Desktop was reached it hibernated again (to disk, this time).
I guess this happened because when the system resumed, the power level was lower then the value set to act (even though the AC was now ON), and I have my system set to hibernate when on critical power. $ apt-cache policy gnome-power-manager Installed: 2.24.2-2ubuntu5 status new -- Hi, I'm BUGabundo, and I am Ubuntu (whyubuntu.com) (``-_-ยดยด) http://LinuxNoDEI.BUGabundo.net && Ubuntu LoCoTeam Portugal http://ubuntu-pt.org Linux user #443786 GPG key 1024D/A1784EBB -- hibernate again right after resume https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/297537 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
