I'm sorry, but this is still not working for me on an up to date feisty 
machine! 
When splash is enabled, all I'm getting is upslash freezing when the bootup 
process is trying to mount the encrypted partitions and after a while it turns 
into a black screen, where i can't do anything. 
If I remove "splash" from the bootup options I get the same errors I got in 
edgy. Meaning the crypt devices don't get activated and the system is trying to 
mount the encrypted ones, which of course fails.
Any help here?
