Public bug reported:

after installataion of jaunty failed with alpha3 + encrypted home, i installed
it with normal home.
after that (and update to current state) i wanted to set up a new user with
"adduser --encrypt-home $user" buit i got following error report:
"ERROR: /home/$user must be empty before proceeding
adduser: "/usr/bin/ecryptfs-setup-private -b -u $user" gave back error-code 1"

although trying the procedure reported in bug 309541 is not helping.

i'm willing to help make it work ;)
