This is a bit of a weird situation because there will be no updates for
dapper's universe and the edgy version probably doesn't have this
problem since it does not depend on bonobo which is causing the crash
(from what upstream said at least). So while technically this is an
issue on Dapper, there is nothing that can be done about it.
