You can stop pidgin from saving logs by going to Tools > Preferences > Logging and unchecking the relevant boxes.
To delete existing logs, open your home folder, navigate to .purple/logs/ (you may have to press Ctrl-H to show hidden folders in Nautilus/File Browser) and delete the contents, or issue "rm -r ~/.purple/logs/*" in a terminal. This is intended behavior, and there's a setting to turn it off, so I'm marking this bug as invalid. ** Changed in: pidgin (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- dont want to save chat history https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/339825 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
