In the Services window, the checkbox corresponding to sysklogd is checked, I even tried unchecking & checking the box again. I am not sure how to see if that service is running.
I checked the process list 'ps aux | grep sysklogd', but it doesn't show anything. So I guess the service is not getting started !! Could you please let me know what additional checks I can do to figure out the problem?
