Following smcintyre on http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=585252
solved the problem. However, after each update I have the same problem
with compiz. Here is configs files

$ cat /etc/xdg/compiz/compiz-manager
# Ubuntu specifc compiz-manager configuration file
# goes into /etc/xdg/compiz/compiz-manager
# works with git://anongit.compiz-fusion.org/fusion/misc/compiz-manager

PLUGIN_PATH="/usr/lib/compiz/"
COMPIZ_NAME="compiz.real"

$ echo "conf: $XDG_CONFIG_DIRS"
