Nobody else seems to have had this problem. The stack trace did not make any sense to me. I suspect it may have been a random error, caused by something else in the system misbehaving, possibly the hardware.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with system-cleaner (since renamed to computer-janitor). I hope you don't mind if I close the bug, since I don't see that there is anything that can be done about it; if you feel it should not be closed, please re-open it, or e-mail me and I'll do it. (Launchpad makes me mark the bug as "invalid". I would rather mark it "unreproducible", since the bug report was certainly valid, and it was merely impossible to figure out what caused it. I apologize for that.) ** Changed in: system-cleaner (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- system-cleaner-gtk crashed with SIGSEGV in _PyObject_GC_New() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/285614 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
