Hmm, it seems for some reason, pulseaudio wants to use "RTP multicast sink". With the "move stream" function of pulseaudio volume control app, I could make it work now, but the sound is very strange, sometimes it starts "stammer" and other noises can be heard especially if there is some I/O on the machine, but even lighter loads as well, like switch workspaces.
