Ubuntu 8.10 with all recent updates applied (2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP)
Whenever I startup with the Hauppauge NOVA-T USB plugged in the system
boots, I can hear the login sound, but after the initial bootsplash
progress bar completes the screen goes black. I tried pressing
CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE to reset the X server but still nothing, remains
blank.
If the hardware is not plugged in then the system boots normally as
expected.
