Public bug reported:

When setting up software RAID with the ubuntu 8.10 installer, no option
is given for chunk size and when building a RAID 5 array, defaults to 64
kilobyte. A much better default choice would be 256k or 512k. There
should either be an option for chunk size in the installer, or it should
default to a saner value.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
