Hi all, I believe that I'm experiencing the same bug here however in a different situation. I use Jaunty 64bit, updated up to today with pulseaudio 0.9.14-0ubuntu9
Occasionally when I use rhythmbox, if I pause a song for a long enough time (several minutes), the pulseaudio crashes with exact same message as vnieto and sovnarkom had: alsa-util.c: snd_pcm_avail_update() returned a value that is exceptionally large: ..... Restarting pulseaudio helps, until the next crash. My audio hardware is: Intel HDA/ Realtek ALC888 codec. -- snd_pcm_avail_update() returning absurd values causes PulseAudio to abort https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/330814 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
