Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.28-8-generic
The kernel image 2.6.28-8 oops on boot on my machine. It reaches GDM and
freezes (systematic).
Booting in recovery mode shows a kernel oops. Syslog/message files keep no
trace of this.
