Public bug reported: I'm following the jaunty developpment branch, and after a dist-upgrade, I found that revelation was missing. When trying to reinstall it apt-get issued the following error :
m...@x40:~$ sudo apt-get install revelation Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: revelation: Depends: python (< 2.6) but 2.6.1-0ubuntu1 is to be installed E: Broken packages I guess package's maintainer knows the problem, but since I didn't find any specific bug for it in launchpad, I open this bug for tracking purpose. Thanks in advance. ** Affects: revelation (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Broken package : revelation depends: python (< 2.6) but 2.6.1-0ubuntu1 is to be installed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335854 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
