Binary package hint: ubiquity
This is with ubiquity on the jaunty amd64 desktop ISO downloaded from
cdimage 2009-02-27.
When I have entered real name, username, password, etc, on the nth page
in the installer wizard, and click the "Forward" button, it takes a
couple of seconds to get to the next page (on a quad-core intel core2
machine!). While this happens, ubiquity selects the text in the first
text box (real name). A naive user will think this is significant, while
it is probably some side-effect of some widget getting focus. It's a
very minor point, but my user testing on an unsuspecting windows/mac
user brought it up, I had never noticed it myself.
It would probably be neater to not have the text selected. This can be
fixed after all other ubiquity bugs have been fixed.
