Hello. I have similar problem: visited youtube.com, it didn't responded. I had to kill firefox. And then all firefox interface and its functions become inactive: no home page, no bookmarks, no address in a bar. I tryed to completly remove firefox and all, that depends of it, rebooted and installed again. But it didn't help. Addition informaion: I installed epiphany - it works well; deleted swfdec-mozilla, installed flashplugin-nonfree - no help; firefox error console has logs:
