Wow, I almost forgot about this now :) I haven't tried using it since I logged this issue, as it didn't make much sense given I couldn't even install Ubuntu. Anyway, I've now installed virtualbox-ose-modules-2.6.24-23-generic as I've upgraded the kernel, but I have yet to replicate the issue because it runs so unbelievably slow and eats all my CPU. As I'm a noob to debugging Linux packages, could you please direct me to the information you'd like to have and how to get it? Also any tips on making it give a tiny bit of CPU back to the host system would also be highly appreciated.
