Emerald isn't officially supported in Edgy yet, and isn't in the universe or multiverse repositories either. Since you got emerald directly from the Beryl Project (the beryl-project.org line at the end of your /etc/apt/sources.list ), you should send it directly to them.
You will need to register an account at http://bugs.beryl- project.org/trac/register and then file the bug at http://bugs.beryl- project.org/trac/newticket Please link link that bug here with a little comment containing the new bug's URL XTechie, your situation is probably similar.
