With rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.3 on intrepid I find the same behavior. Using this version i produced the attached log file. Note that there are two files transferred to the palm.
One shows up in the log as file:///tmp/Redaktion%20Der%20Tag-Die%20Kunst%20des%20Lachens%20-%20Schlu%C3%9F%20mit%20dem%20Ernst%20des%20Lebens.mp3 This one is fine. The other one is file:///tmp/D%C3%B6rte%20Hinrichs%20und%20Hans%20Rubinich-Der%20Kick%20beim%20Kicken:%20Fu%C3%9Fball%20st%C3%A4rkt%20Jungen%20und%20M%C3%A4dchen..mp3 which has the evil ":" in the file path and fails to appear on the palm.
