OK I switched back to tty1 and saw: (++) Using config file: "/root/xorg.conf.new" Xorg: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/xorg/modules/drivers//i128_drv.so: undefined symbol: xf86usleep
Basically what happened is I did X -config /root/xorg.conf.new and it stops at a black screen which I didn't realize was really tty7.
