Public bug reported: Binary package hint: konqueror
Using kubuntu jaunty, the following problem has developed since a updating my system today. I had not updated since a week previously, so this is must be caused by some package update done between 2009-02-13 and 2009-02-21. I'm guessing it is a Konqueror bug, but it could be some other display thing. I'm using the radeonhd driver, on a Dell Studio 17. In Konqueror (and also in another app which I think use konqueror's rendering engine for HTML, BibleTime), the window does not update properly when scrolling. Sometimes the window doesn't update at all, at other times I get garbled output. Sometimes it works fine, then suddenly develops the fault. Some sites are much worse than others e.g. reddit.com seems to be fine, launchpad.net is awful - I'm using Firefox to file this bug, because konqueror is completely unusable on this site. I've attached a screenshot of what I get after going to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/50517 and scrolling down. When you are actually moving, it's much worse and more confusing than the screenshot suggests, but you can still see the confused mess on the shot.
