As a workaround, you can add

DefaultEncryption Never

to cupsd.conf; this disables https communication and is unsecure! But at
least it is possible to use the CUPS web administration.

Btw, the CUPS bugfix patch is here.

It should be possible to apply it without updating CUPS to a newer
