Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cupsys
Hardy 8.04.02 Cups 1.3.7 I configured /etc/cups/cupsd.conf for external web configuration (see attachment) everythings works fine, but it is impossible to configure a new printer: I can select the printer maker (Kyocera in my case); after 'continue' I don't get any more results; after a while, /var/log/cups/error_log says E [20/Feb/2009:16:33:14 +0100] cupsdCloseClient: Error in the push function. E [20/Feb/2009:16:33:14 +0100] PID 6773 (/usr/lib/cups/cgi-bin/admin.cgi) crashed on signal 9! I am pretty sure this is the same error as reported in much more detail here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=453610 ** Affects: cupsys (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- cups web configuration stalls https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/332113 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
