Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Rhythmbox 0.11.5 on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS: Transfering files from rhythmbox to palm centro (with pocket tunes 5.0) fails silently with those files where the title (ID3-tag) contains ":" . The problem seems to be that the generated file name is constructed from the title tag without sanitizing the colon, and the colon is an illegal character in VFAT file names. Is this a pocket tunes problem or a rhythmbox problem?
