My disks are: hda - two partitions with Win XP (plus logical disks on 2nd ext. partition) hdc - blank new for edgy kubuntu. So, I expected I should have the GRUB at the (hda), to choose from Win and Kubuntu boot - I should have used (hd0)? But writing the GRUB caused Ubiquity crash. https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/76335 thanx, j. -- Install Edgy - drive designation for Grub install https://launchpad.net/bugs/76192 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
