with which version of brasero are you seeing this behavior? In Jaunty if
you add a folder with hidden folders as default it filters them but if
you go to "show the filtered file list" select on the options to not
filter hidden files and then click on restore it adds the files and in
the second attempt to add folders with hidden files it just do it right
away, could you test the same? thanks in advance.
