I just wanted to say I have this problem to, also using an intel integrated video card with default compiz options selected. I'll see if I have those two updates and also test out Jaunty as soon as I can to see if this happens. I'll also try using the black background to see if this reproduces the issue as well. Will post back here within the next 2 days. Lets see if we can get this thing squashed!
