Public bug reported: Bug in intrepid. Firefox 3.0.5, flashplugin-nonfree 10.0.15.3ubuntu1~intrepid1, nspluginwrapper 1.1.2-0ubuntu1 on amd64 intrepid. Can also be reproduced in Opera.
Whenever I try to load a page at theonion.com containing a flash object containing a video or an audio stream, the object fails to load. Examples: http://www.theonion.com/content/radio_news/u_s_teens_lead_world_in?utm_source=a-section http://www.theonion.com/content/video/sony_releases_new_stupid_piece_of I understand that this may well be the result of defects within the Flash player itself, but lack of Flash is a serious usability issue for the average user, so getting a workaround is very important. Many thanks. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- flash objects always fail to load at theonion.com https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/329656 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
