Hi just upgraded from 8.04 to 8.10 on acer idea 500; After install
completed the pc rebooted but had a blank display.
After experimenting with the xorg.conf file the only driver which
currently allows X windows/gdm to start successfully is the vesa driver.
Note: i810 driver was working correctly on the 8.04 version.
working config, default config, Xorg logs & lspci, lshw -c display
enclosed.
