QtParted is unmaintained application, whose last stable release was in Nov 2005. The package is unmaintained too, and in jaunty, there is a very nice and maintained remplacement called partitionmanager. There are opened and confirmed bugs that it won't start now : https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtparted/+bug/257220 Qtparted is potentially dangerous applications, so in that respect and for those reasons, it should probably be removed and blacklisted from the debian sync.
