Jaunty just got a major cleanup of the locale system (locale tools are
now built by glibc again, which is much more recent, and all the locales
have been updated). Thus the original belocs bugs do not happen any more
in Jaunty.
Can you please try Jaunty alpha 5 next week, or the beta in a couple of
weeks? If you still have this problem then, please report back here, and
I'll reopen and investigate further.
