Same problem here tried suggestion of changing command launch in /user/share/applications and now I get "Failed to execute child process "gtparted-root" (No such file or directory). Hpwever if I run as sudo from cli (sudo qtparted) it works. OK as I was typing I realized that I was trying to launch from menu bar so I went to edit menus, applications>system tools>qtparted right click properties and changed command to gsku qtpated and it runs not sure if it's 100% functional, will test and report IF not.
