The bug still occurs on intrepid with 180.27 drivers on a geforce 9600M. And please stop calling the workarounds that only work sometimes 'fixes'. They just change timings a bit and stop the race condition kicking in all the time. Still with all suggestions tried out, that I found around the web, compiz is still unusable (esp. with texmaker running).
