I can put off the freeze by switching to a text console immediately after waking up. However, the freeze happens as soon as I switch back to virtual console 7. This make me suspect it's a graphics issue.
Another strange thing: my Gnome desktop comes up unlocked after waking up, I thought it ought to be password-protected. The Alt+SysRq magic works somewhat after a freeze: I can achieve a clean reboot by keying "reisub" but I cannot use 'o' to turn off the system or 'k' to kill all process on the current virtual console. -- System freezes when resumed from hibernation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239308 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
