  can see the networks fine with iwlist scan, but dhcp always fails. If I
  stop NetworkManager (/etc/init.d/NetworkManager stop), then I can
  manually configure fine.
  
  I experienced the same behaviour on Gutsy, but it disappeared upon
  upgrading to Hardy.
