I'm getting the same random reboot trouble. My log files have sections
like this:

Feb 12 08:15:09 megalodon -- MARK --
Feb 12 08:33:18 megalodon syslogd 1.5.0#2ubuntu6: restart.
Feb 12 08:55:09 megalodon -- MARK --

showing where my system (named megalodon) restarts without me asking it
to. I'm running the 64 bit version of 8.10, and other than NVIDIA's
newest driver (180.22) I don't think I have anything weird on my system.
Up until a few days ago I was running 7.10 with NVIDIA's older driver
(177.67), and I didn't have the same trouble then, so I don't think this
is hardware. It's either Ubuntu 8.10 or NVIDIA's 180.22.

Kristian and oc, are you using NVIDIA drivers too?
