Please note that this bug is not closed: it is not marked Invalid, and it is not marked Won't Fix. It is simply considered to be Low priority because the number of people directly affected by this bug is extremely low, and there are workarounds available from this bug report that those people may install. A full and proper fix will eventually be released, but there are far more important bugs that deserve attention first; and that's without even straying from the Upstart bug list.
